Are kids welcome?
As much as we adore your little ones, we will only have our nieces and nephew on the
wedding day.
We understand that some of you may be travelling with your children, so please know they are welcome to the pre and post wedding days (20th and 23rd August). If you need help finding a babysitter for the wedding day, please let us know!
What should I wear?
Do I need to attend the pre and post events?
The pre wedding drinks (Thursday 20th August) will be a casual get together to mingle and catch up with everyone before the big day.
The post ceremony/recovery day (Sunday 23rd August) will also be a casual day to hang out before everyone flies home. We are planning on lawn bowls depending on the weather.
You can choose to come to both, one or none of these extra events. Your presence at the wedding is most important to us :) see the Schedule page for more details.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony is outdoors on grass (depending on weather) and the reception will be indoors.
Is there parking?
There is parking in a sealed bitumen carpark on Bradleys Head Road next to Athol Hall. Guests may use the carpark, however it's not reserved for the wedding and will remain open to other park visitors. Pay and display parking fees apply ($8/day).
Will there be transport to the Wedding venue?
There will not be organised transport for the day of the wedding. A ferry can be taken from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo Wharf, an 11 minute walk to venue. An Uber/Taxi or designated driver would be best.
